Brand New Onboarding & AI Usage Increase
- Brand new onboarding welcome page, with a more intuitive process to help new users quickly get started with Cubox;
- The random reading widget, now supports "Refresh" button to quickly cycle through unread articles, you can access your different interesting articles right from the desktop;
- AI usage increased! Pro members trial now get 50 requests per month, and Pro+AI members get 1000 requests per month.
- iOS Clipboard permission optimization, allowing Cubox to paste from other Apps without the need for system confirmation prompts each time.

Welcome to the brand new version 7.4.0! We have revamped the logic of the extension to enhance experience.
- Optimized code logic to improve capturing speed and stability.
- Enhanced interface elements, adjusted the style of the “Insight” button to reduce distractions.
- Removed the one-click getting insight feature, which is now automatically generated after saving, followed by a prompt to view after successful AI insight. The one-click feature will return for a better experience in future updates.
- Fixed issues that may cause duplicate bookmarks.
- Other known bug fixes and visual optimizations.
Next, Cubox will release more interactive and visual improvements based on this version, offering new capturing and annotation capabilities. Stay tuned for updates!
- Export Optimization: All cards can now be exported in bulk as HTML files. We have made adjustments to the export process to improve efficiency. Instead of waiting for the export to complete, you will now receive an email with the exported files. This optimization reduces waiting time, especially for large-scale data, and provides better support.
- Ask AI adjustments: More key questions of Insight in Ask AI.
- Ghost Highlight Support: The browser extension now supports clicking on ghost highlights to navigate and locate the text in reader.

This AI is designed for reading and is equipped with multiple language models. It offers automatic summarization, key question insights, highlighting, and analysis. With this intelligent assistant, you can easily understand news and trends, filter articles, and experience advanced reading capabilities.
AI Insight
Get a quick understanding of the article’s summary through summarization. Use key questions to understand the main points of the article and their answers. Automatically highlight with Ghost Highlight and mark your favorite sections with annotations.
No manual operation or waiting is required. When your saved articles or subscribed newsletters arrive in your inbox, Cubox will automatically process them and have them prepared on your reading homepage when you open Cubox next time. You can effectively judge whether to read the original article or mark the content as read by swiping left or right.
Ask AI
The original Cubox AI reading assistant has been upgraded. If the answers to the questions in the Insight do not satisfy your curiosity, you can ask AI for more questions or requests in order to generate reading notes, translations, research, learning, etc.
Annotation Review
In the app, you can review annotations by swiping through the cards, including the automatically highlighted text by AI. With buttons or gestures, you can decide whether to continue reviewing on the card. Whether it’s assisting in learning, deepening impressions, or discovering fascinating texts from unread articles, Annotation Review makes your learning process simpler and more engaging.

Browser Extensions
Cubox's browser extensions, including Safari, now support the AI Insight feature of AI 2.0. With these extensions, when you're reading any content in your browser, you can simply click the floating Insight button to instantly get a summary and analysis of the article. The insight of each page will be saved in Cubox along with the page, allowing you to easily continue reading or revisit it later. Make sure to update to the latest extension available in every extension store.
